What We Cover

CNC machining capability

Our machining capability combines CNC milling and CNC turning so projects can be matched to the most suitable process and machine.

Tolerance and finishing

For suitable work, machining tolerances can be held within 0.01 mm in house. Where tighter final tolerances are required, precision grinding can be arranged through specialist partners, along with heat treatment and other specialist processes.

Engineering support

Engineering design, tool making, keyway broaching, welding and engraving can complement machining where required.

Common project questions
What machining tolerances can you hold in house?

For suitable work, we can hold machining tolerances within 0.01 mm in house and work accurately to drawings specified using GD&T. Where tighter final tolerances are required, precision grinding can be arranged through specialist partners.

Can you work from SolidWorks models and engineering drawings?

Yes. Our engineering design service uses SolidWorks for 3D modelling and detailed drawings, so design support can be coordinated with CNC milling, CNC turning and prototyping.

Which specialist processes can be arranged through partners?

Where a project needs work beyond our in-house machining, we can coordinate partner processes such as precision grinding, heat treatment and other specialist processing requirements.
